I am pleased to inform you that I and my team will be joining the OrthoSouth group starting March 8, 2021.
This is a move I have been considering for some time. After many conversations, a lot of thought, and a lot of prayer, I am confident that this is going to work out well for all of us.
No doubt, when you come to the new office it will look different! But my belief is that it will feel the same in regards to the warm, personable care you have been accustomed to.
This will especially be true since Shelle and Amy will still be with me! I can assure you that all of the providers and staff at OrthoSouth share our commitment to taking care of you.
I further expect that joining with a larger orthopedic group with its resources and ancillary services will provide you with additional conveniences we were not previously able to offer.
As a result of this transition,
beginning on March 8, 2021,
my OrthoSouth office will be located at
I will no longer be seeing patients at 3087 Professional Plaza Drive in Germantown after March 5, 2021. To ensure that there are no disruptions in your care, any existing appointments scheduled with me after March 5th will be moved to my Exeter Rd office. We will contact you if we need to change the original date or time. Since OrthoSouth is a participating provider in virtually all insurance plans offered in Memphis, there should be no problems with your coverage.
During the transition period, you may still reach me and my staff via the phone number 901-730-0681. Feel free to use this number if you have questions about your medical records, outstanding balances, or any other questions you may have. The phone number will remain active well past the March 1 date. You can also use OrthoSouth’s main number: 901-641-3000.
Southern Spine will continue to bill you if you have any outstanding balances for services provided prior to March 5. We appreciate your prompt payments. It is important to me that we keep you updated every step of the way during this transition and that you are comfortable with and aware of the expected changes before they happen. I truly believe this move will result in an even better experience for you and hope you will let me know if you have any questions or concerns as we proceed.
Thank you for choosing me as your spine doctor. I look forward to continuing a productive and positive relationship as we embark on this new adventure.
Sincerely,
Patrick M. Curlee, MD
